Our nurse residency program
Our year-long Nurse Residency Program is recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an accredited Practice Transition Program. It is designed to help new RNs build the confidence, skills and clinical judgment needed to thrive in their nursing careers.
Throughout the program, new nurses are supported by nursing directors, clinical education specialists, preceptors and mentors.

Each month, NKC Health celebrates the Honoree in a public ceremony in their unit and they receive a beautiful certificate, a DAISY Award pin and a hand-carved stone sculpture entitled A Healer’s Touch.
